At Peyton's Request...

Fingers look good huh? Peyton bites his nails... editing nightmare :)

Above Photo: I call this London's "I look Like My Dad Face". (She gave it to me a lot) I am sure all who know Peyton have received it. Pardon the expression but its what I refer to as Peyton's "Are you serious face?" or his "WTF?" face. Often confused with deep thought and angry face. This face is usually followed by him cracking up! Anyone agree?

Peyton requested that I post more photos of his little bean, London Noelle. The guy has no patience so I figured I would blow some wind up his skirt and share a few shots of what is to come in the mail to him. I think he and Alicia will love them... I do. She is perfect in every way. I told Peyton today that I love how perfectly chubby she is, just how babies should be! Enjoy your second sneak peek. That is all you guys are getting. You will have to wait for your cd to arrive like everyone else. Can their be no surprises? Imagine what he is like at Christmas. He probably sits there biting his nails debating whether anyone will know if he opens up a gift or two early!

Introducing The Whitsell's

They did it! Close friend to both Jeremy and I, Jocelyn Brown, now Mrs. Whitsell took the plunge on Saturday and I was the photographer. She could not have found a better guy or thrown a better wedding celebration. To check out more pics. visit my photography blog. However I warn you in advance, there are a lot of photographs posted of this wedding.

Check out Jocelyn's blog as well. She is a wonderful photographer herself and always has wonderful writings too! Congrats Joc and Bennette!

Missing Jeremy

So here we are still in Seattle. Cohen and I minus Jeremy. Jeremy came into town this weekend for a quick trip... too quick. He flew out yesterday and ever since Cohen has been say Da all day and every time the phone rings he says Da Da. I guess we just wanted to do a quick post for Jeremy so he knows we are thinking about him and wishing he was still here or that we were just home already.

The above picture is from Jocelyn's wedding this past weekend. She had a Polaroid station set up and the Polaroids were her guest book. Cute idea that I will use someday "IF" I ever get married.

They Did It Again!

Meet Cassie and Justin Stolmeier! They celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows and I was there to photograph it. Check out their sneak peek at my photography blog. It was a cute little ceremony followed by a reception at Dry Soda in Pioneer Square.

Congrats to them! Hope it was as great as the first time!

{Married} Mr. and Mrs. Sherel's

I am headed back to Seattle in the morning. My stay here in Minnesota was nice and much needed. I was able to see old friends, new babies, and photograph friends, Mike and Emily's wedding.

Emily and Mike are now married and what a fun celebration it was. A lot of people from the UofM where there from former co-workers to former athletes I worked with. Every detail of the wedding was planned to perfection and well... these two know how to throw a party and party they did. Congrats to these two! They are both very special!

London Noelle Owens

I find myself here in Minnesota catching up with old friends and preparing to shoot a wedding. So of course I had to stop by and see Peyton's little one London Noelle and take a few shots of her. I have been dying to meet her! Her poppa is so proud of just how perfect she is. It was so great meeting London and spending time with Peyton and his wife Alicia (pronounced different than my name). Thank you both for hanging out, having me meet London and taking me to lunch.

Cheryl and "Jer" {Engaged}

One more session edited and only a handful more to go. Check out Cheryl and her fiance' "Jer" on my photography blog. They are such a fun couple. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in September. If this shoot showed me one thing, it showed me that they are low maintenance, real, and that they fit together. Thanks guys... you two do not take a lousy portrait!

P Kal and Cousin Sophia

So I have left Jeremy behind in Arkansas and have found myself here in Seattle loaded down with camera gear and diapers. While Cohen has been bonding with family I have found myself behind the lens shooting session after session. Therefore expect a lot of posts from my latest shoots.

Here we have sweet Sophia... The newest addition to the Mader family and her cousin Payton who just happens to be my good friends Katie and Travis' blue eyed baby. Both are the cutest so check out more of their sessions on my photography blog. Enjoy!

Last Sunday

Last Sunday Jeremy and I took Cohen and the old dog Koda to Tanyard Creek Trail in Bella Vista. It was the perfect little hike about 1.5 hours of easy to moderate trails that follow the creek bed and take you to waterfalls and caves and even an extension bridge. Everyone always says "Arkansas!" when they find out Jeremy and I live here... but look at how pretty it is. This is one thing we love about it... it is as green and as outdoor friendly as Washington! We love that! These photos are terrible but they are still fun.
