He Is In The Clear

Thanksgiving and thank goodness. Cohen had his Cystic Fibrosis test in ittle Rock yesterday at Children's Hospital and the results came back normal so he is in the clear! We drove down to Little Rock on Tuesday night, Cohen had his sweat test yesterday and today we are spending the holiday with Jill and her family. I will post more photos later but the above are from the sweat test where they make his arms sweat and collect data from the sweat to test for cystic Fibrosis. He was happy the entire time. What great little guy!

My Favorite!

Okay, I think this might just be my favorite from the day! It screams greeting card, but I love it!

Soon To Be Mrs. Fiser!

One of my very best friends came into town this weekend for a visit with her new fiance', Mr. Justin Fiser. They are getting married in March and I cannot wait so I decided to let them, let me take some engagement photos. Have I mentioned they are beautiful people? Not only on the inside but out. Below are a few of my favorite photos from the day. I am sure I will post more as I edit. They made it hard for me to just pick a few to share!

She Needs Face Time!

Koda is my first born, my first love and my tried and true best friend! Today she followed me around the house as I did laundry, cooked lunch, swept the floors and took care of Cohen. This is something that she has not done since before Cohen was born in May. I have missed her but have not even noticed that I missed her because Cohen has stepped right in and swept me off my feet. But as I noticed her following me around today I got a little emotional thinking to myself "Yeah! She still loves me but not as much as I love her!"

I know she loves me cause she lets Cohen tug her ears and despite the discomfort he causes her she will still give him a few sloppy kisses when he through! She may be an old bag of bones of shedding hair and drool but she is the best because she so darn sweet!

Apple of My Eye!

I took this photo this morning while Cohen was playing with his toys. He is sitting up so big and unassisted. I know it won't be long until he is crawling and then walking!

Health Update...

We heard back on one of the test results for Cohen... He does not have Celiac Disease. I cannot tell you how happy that makes me. I know that gluten is something we should all try to limit but it is so hard and expensive to follow a totally gluten free diet. His thyroid did test a little high which is weird because high really means that your thyroid is under active and people with an under active thyroid are usually a bit heavier so we are going to possibly retest that again at a later date. However the high thyroid levels right now are not anything of major concern. We are still waiting for the results to the food allergens and if that comes back negative they want to test for Cystic Fibrosis. Uggg... more waiting and worrying of course.

Just Too Many Good Ones!

So here are just a few more photos from Cohen's six month photo shoot. There are some photo shoots were I have a hard time choosing just a couple of my favorites and this was one of them. This kid gives me so many different expressions in a matter of minutes. I just love it! Here are just a few of his many faces. Enjoy and remember to vote for Cohen!

Tiny 6th Month Old

Can you believe it? Cohen turned 6 months on the 6th. Today we had his 6th month check up and shots. He hated the shots. Screamed bloody murder. He is a tiny little peanut weighing in at 14 lbs 3 oz... yep, that would be the 5th percentile. He is 26.5 inches long (50%). The doctor is a little concerned about his weight gain or lack there of and his pooping. ( He still poops a ton and eats more than your average kiddo) So, the doctor drew some blood to test for various food allergies, and for Celiac disease. Cross your fingers and hope both come back negative. We are going to get to the bottom of what causes all the pooping and the lack of weight gain.

In the mean time here are some pics of his 6th month photo shoot. These are just a few. More to come shortly I am sure.
