Cohen experienced his first day of college football. Something in our house I am sure he will grow to love. It started out with college game day and then he was on to his first tailgate with the Razorbacks. There we met up with one of my best girlfriends, Julie, from college and her almost 6 month old Tripp. He is so cute! We ended the night watching the Huskies take on Oregon. So many teams to root for in this house... UW, WSU, Minnesota and Arkansas! Poor Cohen, which onesie to wear on game day????

We Miss You Michaelanne

My sister Michaelanne tours Europe with her job this year for six weeks. She left yesterday for her six week tour so Cohen and I made this video for her the other day. 

It is just so cute that I wanted to share it with you all. Sorry it is so long... it was intended to be for Michaelanne not the blog!

Cohen Thomas, 16 weeks or for those of you without kids... 3 months and 3 weeks

Morning Time!

This morning Jeremy got a special treat. Cohen was up and in our bed just hanging out. I was trying to take some pictures of Cohen using the light from our bedroom window when Jeremy came out of the bathroom to find Cohen awake and happy in our bed. Of course I could not resist capturing the kisses!

I Can Finally Shower

Cohen is not a good napper and when I put him down on his mat or in his swing I am lucky to get him to stay there for 10 minutes without having to come over to entertain. This causes some troubles for me when it comes to showering. Basically, as long as he is awake there is no way in hell he is letting me shower without him crying through the whole thing. Which means its in and out and I don't get to shave my legs. For those of you who know me well, you know I have to shave my legs daily. I just hate stubble... yuck! So, I introduce to you the excersaucer! It is a must have on my what to buy for baby when you are expecting. Cohen loves it. I bring it into the bathroom, plop him in it and ahhhhh.... shaved legs and sometimes even an extra 5 minutes of just letting the hot water hit my body! Thank you Baby Einstein for making this exersaucer. I finally feel human again!

Cohen is too short for his exersaucer so in order for him to be able to gain leverage and move around I put down a phone book so he can touch the ground. I love how little he is! 

3.5 Months

Cohen is 3.5 months old. I went to the doctor again yesterday and he finally weighed 12lbs. We have been going to the doctor a lot because Cohen is having  fat-malabsorbtion troubles. Basically what goes in comes right out and if it wasn't for his hearty appetite  (7-8 6oz bottles a day) he would not be gaining any weight at all. We have him on a special formula, when I say special I really mean expensive... I am hoping this works because I cannot take all this crap anymore. I mean that literally! I just want Cohen feeling good.

I found Jeremy and Cohen out on the back patio the other night just sitting quietly together. They just looked at ease as the sun was going down. Sweet really!

Last Weekend in the Rock!

This past weekend we all went to Little Rock to stay with my good friend Jill, otherwise known as Cohen's local God Mother! We always have fun when we stay with them. Koda gets to come to come as well and plays with Jill and Justin's three dogs! Yes, it is like a freakin' puppy mill at their house. Jeremy played paint ball and golfed of course. Thanks to Jen for watching Cohen I was able to get a little shooting in as well.

In all this weekend I shot a wedding, and four separate photo shoots to boot. Below are pictures of Cohen with Jill and below those two pictures are some pictures from my shoots. I want to thank Robin, Jill's sister for referring me. Everyone was a lot of fun to shoot.

Its hard for me to believe that Cohen turned three months old yesterday but he did. Below are a few shots of him I took this morning after a bath.

Today I took some pictures of Jeremy's good friends and business partner, his wife Shelly and their daughter Bailey. Ashton and Shelly will soon be adding little miss Hadley to the mix in late September. They were a lot of fun to shoot and there is no lying, the camera just can't hide it... that they are a beautiful family.
