Two Favorites!

As we approach the 8 week mark I went back and found two of my most favorite photos of Cohen. It is safe to say that neither hat fits him anymore. I will say that the top he is wearing in the bottom picture does although when he wears it, it is so snug it makes him look like a little hot dog. He was just so darn tiny in these pictures. Time really does go by fast! 

This picture was taken about an hour ago. You see Cohen has been a mess of fussiness as of late so I absolutly love moments like this. . . No actually I need moments like this. I love this chubby cheeked little guy! 

Good Morning Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt MA

So Cohen is a good baby, especially in the morning. It seems to be his happiest time of day. We sometimes joke that it is his only happy time because he really has been fussy all day long as of late expect for the first diaper change of the day. Today we made a video to send to my mom, dad and sister Michaelanne. He really is a ham in the morning. Its really like night and day around here. Happy in the morning fussy in the evening!

Lazy Sunday

Just another lazy day . . . Cohen went to the doctor on Friday and weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz. He doesn't seem like he almost weighs nine pounds. He turns 7 weeks on Tuesday and is gaining his one ounce a day that is recommended. He is a very long, lean baby so nine pounds sounds like more than what he feels like. He has a hearty appetite and wants to eat all the time so I suspect that we will be seeing some rolls soon!

My sister sent this to me and needless to say she is not voting republican. Check it out it is pretty cute.

Oh Le Bebe' Baby Couture!

So... Oh Le Bebe' is a company that one of my best girlfriends and I started. The concept is this... My newborn, baby, and toddler photography and her apparel design. Basically, one company, two products. Photography and fashion. The photography is done in the comfort of the birthing room, family's home, on location or a studio type of set up. Either way, I come to you. 

The apparel line is all about fabric and what compliments mom. No more Winnie the Pooh or baby types of prints rather high fashion meets baby. We also wanted to create burp cloths and apparel for baby that complimented mom's outfits. That way when your out for a nice dinner you can coordinate your burp cloth or babies onesies with your outfit. Genius, I must say!

Cohen's First Ball Game

Cohen went to his first baseball game yesterday. I know it is not the Mariner's but really the Mariner's stink so having his first ball game being a minor league game might actually compare to that of a current M's game. None-the-less we took Cohen to a NW Arkansas Naturals game. They played the Tulsa Drillers. Pretty uneventful but the stadium is one of the best around, brand new and beautiful. Funny how a baseball stadium can be beautiful but if you love the sport it sure can be. Cohen did great. Was awake until about the 7th inning. Never even fussed a bit. Maybe he has already taken to the sport???? Guess we will find out when he starts walking. 

Ooh La Lola Woobies and Burp cloths

The above were made for me by a good friend Jeannette. She is the owner and creator of Ooh La Lola. She creates baby burp cloths and woobies (small quarter size blankets) that are perfect as a stroller throw or to have your little one carry around instead of a huge blanket that drags on the floor. Six Weeks

He will hate me later in life but his rear is so photogenic!

These pictures are from this morning. Six weeks old today... Wow, I feel like the time has gone by so fast but I also feel like he has been in my life forever! Okay so he will kick my butt for the butt picture but who doesn't love a six week old tiny hind end? The others capture his demeanor  when he is well rested and has a freshly changed diaper. So six weeks old... Wow!

I took these this morning. I was going to use them for Jeremy for a Father's Day album. Not sure what I am going to do with them now. But I loved them so much that I had to share them with everyone. He is changing so fast and he already looks older and bigger than he did last week. He is so handsome and pretty all at the same time. That smile of his is going to be the death of us!

5 Weeks and 5 Days Old

Cohen has really started coming into his own. He is smiling like crazy. So now he eats, poops, sleeps, smiles, and attempts some baby talk. I thought I wanted to freeze him as a newborn but now I want to freeze him as an infant! He is just something else. His smile just makes you smile. I am in love!

Happy Father's Day Jeremy!

Today is Father's Day. So that makes it Jeremy's first Father's Day. I must say Jeremy has impressed me so much with his parenting skills and his desire to be the best dad to ever exist. So far he has exceeded my expectations. He does dirty diapers, baths, spit up, and feedings. He is a great Dad. Cohen is a lucky guy!

I have always been told that I have really hot friends. Good thing for Cohen, huh? He was able to meet all my girlfriends just before our girls night. Needless to say this boy was allowed to crash girls night!

Cohen met Jeremy's side of the family on June 8th. We all met at Grammy's house for lunch. He was a big hit, held and kissed by all. We missed aunty Linda though!

Cohen met my family for the first time on Wednesday, June 4th. He was greeted at Grandma's house by his aunt Michaelanne and by Grandma. Just a few minutes later uncle Tommy arrived at the house, followed by Grandpa. Cohen was held by all. Tommy helped me give Cohen a bath in Grandma's sink. I think we all stayed up until 11:00pm just gualking over him. It was a special day to share him with my brother and sister for the first time!
